At ExtraCare, we rely on the support of our 2,500 valued volunteers who make a huge difference to our residents' quality of life, helping them enjoy independent and active lifestyles within inspirational communities.

Volunteers are at the heart of our communities:

  • Volunteers who support our Well-Being Programme
  • Library volunteer

As an ExtraCare volunteer you will be:

  • Fully trained and inducted (we may also require you to have a DBS check, but we'll organise this)
  • Fully covered by our insurance
  • Covered or reimbursed for your expenses
  • Well supported and highly valued
